01 OVERVIEW

24SCD SnareClapDesigner builds electronic snares and claps in real time rather than playing fixed samples. Its body, wires, transient, clap and tail engines can work independently or merge through timing, glue and drive controls into one coherent drum voice.

Five synthesis models

808 and 909 use distinct resonator and oscillator approaches, while Acoustic, Modern and Free provide expanded modal and hybrid relationships.

Body + wire construction

Tune two-mode drum resonance with Tension, Mode, Balance and Decay, then shape the separate snare-wire layer with Snappy, Tone, Tightness and Rattle.

Multi-burst clap engine

Control hand count, spacing, burst width, filter tuning and crowd variation, with a separate synthetic tail for longer electronic claps.

Snare / clap integration

Balance both engines, move their relative timing with Offset, and use Glue to tighten spacing and unify envelopes, saturation and spectral interaction.

Expressive triggered sound

Velocity changes excitation, attack and high-frequency content as well as volume. Drift adds subtle per-hit changes in tuning, decay, noise and timing.

Fifty starting points

Factory presets begin with Tech House and cover House, Techno, Psytrance, Trance, DnB, Breakbeat, Trap, Electro, retro-machine and utility roles.

03 WORKFLOW

From input to intent

A direct path
into the sound.

  1. Choose a factory preset near the drum role you need.
  2. Set Tune or use Note Lock to align the body with the track.
  3. Balance Body, Wires, Hit, Clap and Tail while the full arrangement is playing.
  4. Use Offset and Glue to combine the snare and clap, then finish with Drive and Output.
04 INSTALLATION

Windows x64 / VST3

Install.
Make noise.

01 Download and extract the ZIP archive.

02 Copy the complete .vst3 folder to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\.

03 Restart your DAW and rescan VST3 plugins if needed.

04 The included standalone application can run without DAW installation.

24SCD is a real-time synthesized instrument. MIDI velocity changes both level and timbre. The optional sidechain is used for visual Body, Crack and Air context analysis without automatic correction.
